Alicia is an ICF-Certified Coach. Her diverse experience spans over 25 years working in and with nonprofit and for-profit organizations. She received a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from University of California, Berkeley, and holds a master of business administration from Harvard Business School.
Prior to launching BeingWell.life, Alicia was Executive Director of The Prentice School. She has also served as faculty at California State University, Fullerton, teaching management courses related to leadership and new venture launches. Alicia began her professional career at The Chevron Corporation, then The Walt Disney Company. She has consulted for hundreds of entrepreneurial companies and others such as, Kraft Foods, CHOC Children's, and UCI Medical Center.
Alicia is the President-Elect of the Work and Organizations Division of the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA). From 2013-2015 Alicia served as a Trustee of the Brea Olinda Unified School District. In 2017 she was recognized as Business Woman of the Year by the National Hispanic Business Women Association (NHBWA). Alicia is bilingual / bicultural (from Mexico). She enjoys gardening, nature walks and volunteering with nonprofit organizations that focus on education and social/emotional intelligence in youth. Alicia lives in Southern California with her husband, two sons and adorable dog, Oliver.
